7 small changes in your daily lifestyle for healthy living

Being healthier doesn’t have to mean overhauling your entire lifestyle. Sometimes all it takes is a few simple changes. From lowering your headphones to sleeping commando, these quick-and-easy tweaks to your daily health regimen can make a huge difference in the way you feel. Here are these tips:

1. Grab your toes and pull:
This boosts circulation after your feet have been cramped in shoes all day. Without proper circulation, the muscles and nerves in our toes don’t work properly. And that can cause pain in your knees, hips, and back. For those who spend long hours sitting at work, this is a quick way to get better circulation going.


2. Wash bed linens often:
Dust mites, a major allergy trigger, love to hang out in your bed. Zap ’em by laundering sheets and pillowcases every week in hot water. Also washing linens regularly kill a lot of bacteria that may cause various illnesses.


3. Silence your phone at night:
Don’t let anyone interrupt a deep sleep. Not even your loved ones. Most important for mental wellness is a sound sleep. Turning the phone off works, too. Less sleep causes anxiety and lowers your productivity at work greatly.


4. Go commando while sleeping:

5. Brush 2 times for 2 minutes daily:

Brushing your teeth at least 2 times a day keeps those nasty-smelling bacteria out of your mouth. Also, killing the high population of germs present in your mouth places you at a lower risk of gut/digestive infections and throat infections. All in all, it is very important.


6. Lower your headphone volume:
MP3 players/phones can create sound up to 120 decibels loud enough to cause hearing loss over time. Follow the 60/60 rule: Keep volume coming through your headphones to no more than 60 percent of the max, for no more than 60 minutes a day.


7. Go outside in sunlight often:
Fresh air is full of feel-good negative ions, which may boost oxygen flow to the brain. If you can, combine it with exercise, like a brisk walk activity. It will help boost endorphins and energy of your body.
